As I have been attempting to write something coherent about Ma’s farm, the results have increasingly sounded like poor rewrites and mash ups of To Sir With Love, The Wind Beneath My Wings, You’re My Hero and Sparky Come Home (those who know will know). All that needs to be said is that Ma was truly the greatest. And, in August of 1992 we held a reunion to let her know how dearly we held her and to fill her house up one more time. Friends, family and neighbours attended and contributed not only to the joie de vivre but to the feast as well … to dear friends; a few memories … (69 images)
And she insisted on being called Ma …

Best of the best , many good times and people captured for memories
Thank you so much for posting those pictures. Though I was not able to be there due to the birth of my second child, I remember many of the people in those pictures that had come for visits at random times. I miss the farm, my Grandma and all the interesting visits and get-togethers that we had between family, neighbors, friends, and all “ the adopted children” that my Grandma considered her own. She had the biggest heart, liked to hear the latest news and gossip and always make sure anyone who visited was well fed.
Thanks for the memories!
I sure wish I was there just could not get a flight out. Lot of memory’s with a lot of the people.
After seeing this album, I wish I was there….looks like I missed a great time….
What wonderful memories as always. Thank you rob
