Bitter rivals/Best of friends, we competed in baseball, in the summer, and football (soccer), that we played in the winter … in field conditions that could sometimes be described as knee deep. Other rivals were Trout Creek S.D. No. 2315, Egilson S.D. No. 1476 with Big and Little Woody S.D.’s 1621 and 1271. There were baseball games against teams from further afield; Lady Hubble, Lavender and Harlington at field days.
